This relates to the Herndon situation.. I really am an xtchr, and I taught in a trailer for many years. The fact is that the trailers have ABSOLUTELY NO SECURITY. We read and hear so much about school security, but the trailers are never included. No buzz in or out, no office to stop in for identification, no cops, no place to hide, like in a bathroom, and walls so thin that any projectile would easily pierce them. True, there is a panic button, but in my trailer it was right by the door, the last place anyone wants to be if there is an active shooter. If I were a parent, I absolutely would not have my child in a trailer just for this reason. I believe this is an issue that SERIOUSLY needs to be addressed.
