Robbery and Assault at Garden Center
Reston Police District – An employee of the Meadows Farms Nursery was robbed at gunpoint in the parking lot of the business at 11254 Leesburg Pike in Herndon.
The victim was walking in the lot shortly after 7 p.m. on Saturday, June 22 when two men got out of a pick-up truck, produced a weapon and demanded money. The victim complied. The suspects then assaulted the victim and fled.
The suspects were described as Hispanic males between 20-30 years old and around 5 feet 6 inches tall. Both suspects wore red bandanas on their faces. One wore a white t-shirt, dark khaki cargo shorts and black sneakers.
The other suspect wore a white tank top and khaki cargo shorts.
The suspect vehicle was described as a white Toyota Tundra.
