Arlington Man Charged After Police Chase in McLean

A Fairfax County police officer was driving on Colshire Drive in McLean on March 1 at 2:40 a.m. and attempted to stop the driver of a Toyota Camry on suspicion of driving while intoxicated.
The driver fled to Anderson Road, where he crashed and then fled on foot from the vehicle, police said. Using the police helicopter and K-9 units, police located the suspect in the 7300 block of Dartford Drive.
Authorities have charged the suspect, a 24-year-old Arlington man, with driving while intoxicated and driving on a revoked driver’s license, police said.
