My wife and I have been married for over 4 years and we have 2 year old son. She's a pacific islander that came to the US in 2004 with an I94 or I95 Visa. She got a work permit and worked for the airlines for several years. Her work permit expired in 2007. She was going to go back home to her country, but stayed on due to some issues with relatives and her 1st husband insisted she stay. I think this hurt her chances for getting a green card, she was given a SSN# from immigration. (She married was married to her first husband from 2003 to 2007). Her husband was a real lowlife and control freak.
Anyway, now we are married (2009 to present) and we're going thru the application process. I think our chances would be much better if we had a good immigration lawyer. Does anyone have any good recommendations please?
