Feb 1-7: we expect some sort of snow accumulation Monday, but any accumulation would melt due to warm ground temps and the possibility of above freezing air temps. we could also see icing early Tuesday morning, but does not seem likely. After the first two storms, we could later see heavy rain on Wednesday, no snow associated with this last storm.
Feb 8-12: here we go, our first major storm since snowmageddon. we predict anywhere between 1-3 feet of snow, and as our computers keep updating, it looks like we could be heading towards record snowfall. the forecast may change as it is over a week out, but all the models agree with each other which does not happen often, even 1 day before a storm.
so our opinion for this week and next weekend is get the shovels, salt, and firewood ready!
