I have a couple questions about tjhsst. Would be interest in your comments.
1. We (my husband, daughter and I) are concerned that it is too "technical" and that the arts and humanities are totally ignored. What do you think? (We know it is a math, science school, but we'd like to see well roundedness in the educational attitude, not just the requirements.)
2. We also get the feeling that many of their students could stay at their base high school and be in the top 10% of their class, but end up at TJ and are in the middle. Did you experience this, and was this upsetting for your kids?
3. We are concerned about the culture and if it is really male dominate? Grace is a pretty outspoken female and if the attitude and culture is really male dominate, that might not make a good mix for her.
4. Did your kids end up with so much homework that they didn't have time for other things? Grace plays two instruments and travel soccer (third string ODSL team)and we think we may have to give them up if she goes there. What do you think?
