With the new six-class VHSL realignment, the old Northern Region is dead and most of the traditional NoVa teams are in the new Region 6A-North!
Concorde Conference 5 is unchanged with Centreville, Chantilly, Herndon, Oakton, Robinson, and Westfield...
Liberty Conference 6 picks up a little bit of heft, adding Hayfield, Washington-Lee and Yorktown to a strong field of Langley, McLean, Madison, Fairfax, and South Lakes....
Patriot Conference 7 looks much the same, but loses Lee from a traditionally powerful group in Annandale, Lake Braddock, South County, TC Williams, West Potomac, West Springfield, and defending Region Champ WT Woodson...
...and the rest of the old Region jumps down to the 5A Classification in Capitol Conference 13: Lee, Jefferson and Marshall join old National District foes Edison, Falls Church, Mount Vernon, JEB Stuart, and Wakefield.
Who are this year's contenders? Pretenders? SLEEPERS???
