Convenience Store Robbery in Mount Vernon
Mount Vernon Police District - Police are investigating a robbery that occurred Monday afternoon, August 13. Around 3:02 p.m. two men entered the 7-Eleven located at 8146 Old Mount Vernon Road and one displayed a handgun and demanded money from the 57-year-old employee. The suspects took money and fled on foot. There were no injuries.
The first suspect was described as black, 20s, about 5 feet 11 inches tall and wearing a blue pullover and white ball cap. The second suspect was described as black, 20s, about 5 feet 5 inches tall and wearing a dark hoodie.
