Fatal Crash in Hybla Valley Area
Mount Vernon Police District – On June 5, Richard Pro, 85, of Alexandria, died from injuries resulting from a vehicle crash on Wednesday, May 29, 2013.
Around 2:36 p.m. on May 29, a 2004 Toyota Camry was proceeding southbound on Richmond Highway and attempted a left turn onto Sherwood Hall Lane, when it was struck by a 2004 Pontiac Vibe, driven by a 45-year-old man, which was northbound on Richmond Highway. The 80-year-old driver of the Toyota and Mr. Pro, who was a passenger in the Toyota, were both transported to a local hospital.
Speed and alcohol are not considered factors in the crash. The case remains under investigation.

Fatal Crash in Hybla Valley Area
